Time & Location

Oct 25, 2025, 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Boston, 2405 Washington St, Roxbury, MA 02119, USA

About the Event

While Black women, girls, and BIPOC missing persons often suffer the deepest invisibility, this vigil is dedicated to all missing persons, survivors of exploitation, and their families. Through memorial activities, a talking drum remembrance, poetry performances, and spoken word, we reclaim memory and build collective power.

This event will also spotlight Bill H.3913, proposed legislation that aims to strengthen protections and oversight for missing and exploited individuals. We are encouraging our community and policymakers to support it actively.

Featured program elements:

  • Memorial Activities — banner hope, messages to the missing

  • Drum Remembrance — intergenerational community ceremony

  • Poetry & Testimony — community voices
